Karachi Couple Contracts Love Marriage in Tando Adam, Seeks Protection

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A young couple from Karachi solemnised a love marriage in Tando Adam court and later appealed for protection, citing threats to their lives.

According to reports, 21-year-old Muhammad Ahad Shaikh and 18-year-old Anamta Pathan appeared before the local court and contracted marriage of their own free will.

Following the court proceedings, the couple arrived at the Tando Adam Press Club where they told journalists that they had married out of mutual consent, but the bride’s family had turned hostile and declared enmity against them.

They alleged that they were facing life-threatening circumstances and had been receiving serious threats. The couple urged higher authorities to ensure their safety and provide them protection so that they could live without fear.
