Event Held in Shahdadpur to Mark World Children's Day
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Shahdadpur hosted a special event on World Children's Day, organized by Sindh Green Foundation, Sindh Child Protection Authority, and the Government Special Education and Rehabilitation Center (DPED). The event aimed to raise awareness about children's rights, promote inclusive education, and highlight the welfare of marginalized children.
The event was attended by notable figures, including Tariq Raheem from Sindh Child Protection Authority, Mufti Gulzar Ahmed from Government Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, Rasool Bux Sehto from DPED Government Provincialized Boys High School Shahdadpur, Noor Muhammad Mangi, the founder of Sindh Green Foundation, and Mehdi Hassan Panhwar, President of Shahdadpur Press Club, among others.
During the program, speakers emphasized the importance of ensuring children's welfare, access to quality education, and their protection. Mufti Gulzar Ahmed expressed his delight that such an event was being held at the institution, highlighting the need for focused attention on children's upbringing. He stated that his organization is actively working to support children with disabilities in Shahdadpur.
Noor Muhammad Mangi discussed the efforts of Sindh Green Foundation to enhance children's welfare and protection, stressing that educating and respecting children's rights is essential for a brighter future. Tariq Raheem from the Sindh Child Protection Authority underlined the collective responsibility to protect children and provide opportunities for their development. He also mentioned the launch of the Child Protection Management Information System by the Sindh government to enhance child protection.
The program featured performances by children, including tableaus and other engaging activities, highlighting the importance of safeguarding children's rights and their role in society.
