The court ordered the removal of NADRA chairman

Lahore (Web Desk) Lahore High Court has ordered the removal of Nadra Chairman Lieutenant General Munir Afsar.

The Lahore High Court accepted the petition against the appointment of NADRA Chairman and declared the appointment of Lt. Gen. Munir Officer null and void.

Citizen Ashba Kamran had challenged the appointment of NADRA Chairman, Justice Asim Hafeez gave a safe decision on Ashna Kamran's request.

It was argued in the petition that the caretaker government approved the appointment of serving army officers by amending the NADRA law, the caretaker government cannot interfere in permanent policy matters.

In the petition, it was appealed that the Lahore High Court declares the NADRA amendment rules null and void, and the court declares the appointment of the serving military officer as NADRA chairman null and void.
