Islamabad (Web Desk) The Supreme Court has released the written decision of the NAB amendment case. In the joint decision written by the Chief Justice, it has been said that the NAB law was made 34 days after former Army Chief Pervez Musharraf came to power by force.

The court decision said that Pervez Musharraf threw out the constitutional democratic order and made legislation for himself.

In the draft of the law made during the Musharraf era, it was written that the purpose of the NAB law is to prevent corruption. The politicians and political parties who joined Pervez Musharraf were acquitted. The original purpose of the NAB law was political revenge or political engineering.

The court further said in its decision that the Supreme Court should try to revive the legislation instead of terminating it.
