Sanghar Police Arrest 35 Suspects in Major Crackdown; Drugs, Weapons and Stolen Property Recovered

SANGHAR(Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Police in Sanghar district conducted a series of coordinated operations across multiple police station jurisdictions, arresting 35 suspects including robbers, proclaimed offenders and drug peddlers, and recovering narcotics, weapons, stolen goods and other illegal items.

According to a police spokesperson, the operations led to the recovery of over 5 kilograms of hashish, 3,410 sachets of gutka, 22 bags of raw betel nut, a gutka manufacturing machine, two TT pistols, three motorcycles and three stolen mobile phones.

In one major breakthrough, SHO Tando Adam Muhammad Hanif Mehr arrested suspects identified as Safian Rajput and Muhammad Ehsan Rajput in connection with robbery cases (FIRs 201 and 205/2026). Police recovered three snatched mobile phones, a TT pistol and a motorcycle allegedly used in the crimes.

In separate actions, drug peddlers Samina Rajput and Shabbir Rajput were arrested with 1,200 sachets of gutka and 5kg of raw chalia, while 450 sachets of gutka were recovered from suspects Aamir Panhwar, Abdul Ghani and Shaukat.

SHO Shahdadpur Zulfiqar Ali Pahii recovered a TT pistol from suspect Minthar Lanjwani during investigation of murder case FIR 163/2026.

Further operations led to the arrest of Hakim Khaskheli, Mashooq Theheem, Pyar Ali Theheem, Ghulam Abbas Arif, Munawar Ali and Bilawal, with police recovering 22 bags of chopped raw betel nut, a gutka-making machine, one motorcycle and 600 sachets of gutka.

B-Section Police arrested Muddad Ali Khaskheli and recovered 1,020 grams of hashish. In another operation, Shahpur Chakar Police arrested Jehanzaib Khanzada and Darya Khan, recovering 1,050 grams of hashish.

During a separate crackdown on interference in official duties, police arrested Zahid Zardari, Mehtab Zardari and Rashid Zardari.

In Sinjhoro, police recovered 1,060 grams of hashish from Ghulam Hussain, while Abdul Razzaq Rajput and Sher Khan Rajput were found in possession of 220 sachets of gutka.

Shahpur Chakar Police recovered 515 grams of hashish from Sadiq Ali Mangsi. Sanghar Police also arrested Ghulam Qadir alias Babu Nizamani, wanted in a narcotics case, recovering 900 grams of hashish.

In a separate theft case (FIR 150/2026), police recovered a stolen motorcycle and arrested suspects Sadaam Hussain Nizamani and Raju Meghwar.

Khadro Police arrested Shaukat Ali Malik with 600 grams of hashish, while Khipro Police recovered 30 litres of liquor from Raja Bheel, Owais Ronjho and Rahim Dad Ronjho.

In further actions, Chotiyariyon Police recovered 300 sachets of gutka from Ghulam Hussain Junejo and arrested a suspect wanted in cases related to attempted murder and the Anti-Terrorism Act.

Naubad Police recovered 420 sachets of gutka from three suspects, while Perumal Police arrested Waqaar Ali Theheem with 220 sachets.

Police officials stated that operations against criminals and drug dealers would continue without discrimination to ensure public safety and the protection of life and property.
