Body Found Near Tando Adam, Police Probe Cause of Death

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A 50-year-old labourer was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Rahu Mori on Hyderabad Road within the jurisdiction of the City Police Station on Thursday, prompting an investigation into the cause of death.

According to police, local residents spotted the body of an unidentified man and informed the authorities. The body was shifted to the Taluka Hospital for identification, where the deceased was identified as Abdullah Sand, son of Daud Sand, a resident of village Habib Sand.

Family members said the deceased worked at a sawmill and lived in a rented house on Hyderabad Road. His brother, Ismail Sand, told journalists that Abdullah had left home late at night for an unknown reason and the family was informed of his death the following morning.

He said the deceased had injuries on his head and other parts of the body, adding that it was unclear whether he had been hit by a vehicle or was the victim of a violent attack.

The family has demanded a thorough investigation after the post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

The body was handed over to the heirs after a post-mortem examination conducted nearly seven hours after it was brought to the hospital. Hospital officials said the delay occurred due to the absence of a doctor required to carry out the examination.

Police said they were investigating all possible angles and would ascertain the circumstances that led to the man's death.
