PPP Sanghar holds meeting to review arrangements for Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s 47th death anniversary
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sanghar district chapter held an important meeting to review arrangements for observing the 47th death anniversary of party founder and former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
The meeting was chaired by PPP Sanghar district president and Sindh Assembly member Ali Hasan Hingorjo and was held at the residence of district general secretary Jahangir Junejo, where an iftar reception was also arranged for participants.
A large number of PPP leaders and office-bearers from across the district attended the meeting, including Jahangir Junejo, Imran Dhamrah, Javed Shoro, PPP Cultural Wing president Abdul Sattar Khaskheli, Peoples Hari Committee Shaheed Benazirabad Division president Rais Mehboob Ali Zardari, Peoples Hari Committee Sanghar president Taj Muhammad Mangrio, general secretary Zanwar Hubdar Ali Zardari, Ghulam Sarwar Burdi, PPP Labour Bureau leader Muhammad Ibrahim Chang, chairman Municipal Committee Sanghar Rashid Mughal, chairman Municipal Committee Tando Adam Ghulam Murtaza Junejo, chairman Town Committee Jatiya Sajad Junejo, chairman Jhol Rana Rashid, chairman Sinjhoro Rana Anwar Rajput, Waqar Qadir Junejo, Gul Muhammad Dahri, Taj Muhammad Waryah, Jam Zaheer Ali Khan, Ali Muhammad Khoso, Akhtar Nizamani, Muhammad Achar Saand and Raja Aftab Laghari, among others.
During the meeting, participants discussed arrangements for attending the central commemoration ceremony to be held at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto on the occasion of Bhutto’s death anniversary.
Party leaders urged workers to participate in the event in large numbers and reach Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in organised convoys to pay tribute to the late leader.
Speakers said PPP workers from Sanghar district would travel in thousands to attend the ceremony and pay homage to Bhutto. They added that Bhutto’s political struggle and services to the people would always be remembered and that PPP workers would continue to carry forward his mission.
