JI holds protest in Tando Adam to express solidarity with Iran

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) workers staged a demonstration outside the Tando Adam Press Club on the appeal of the party’s chief, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, to express solidarity with Iran and condemn the alleged attacks by the United States and Israel.

The protest was led by JI Tando Adam emir Syed Areefullah Saifi and was addressed by local party leaders. The speakers strongly condemned what they termed aggression against Iran, saying such actions were a violation of international laws.

They urged the international community to take notice of the situation and ensure accountability of those responsible. The speakers said that despite international sanctions, Iran had demonstrated its resolve to defend its sovereignty and would not accept any external domination.

They added that Jamaat-i-Islami stood with Iran and the Muslim world in what they described as a difficult time.

Participants in the demonstration carried banners and placards bearing various slogans and chanted against the United States and Israel.
