Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference Held at Govt. New Aligarh Postgraduate College, Tando Adam
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference was held with great fervor at the Government New Aligarh Postgraduate Degree College, Tando Adam. The event was hosted under the supervision of the college principal, Professor Yaad Hussain Shaikh.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader and former senator Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen attended the conference as the chief guest. The event featured a series of speeches, articles, Qur’an recitation, and Naat performances by students, all centered on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The audience deeply appreciated the students’ efforts and presentations.
Speaking at the occasion, Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen, Director Colleges Muhammad Suleman Siyal, Additional Director Colleges Hussain Ahmed Rind, Deputy Director Qamaruddin Keerio, Mufti Muhammad Tahir Madni, Mufti Umar Ghori, and other distinguished speakers lauded the college for organizing such a spiritually enriching and educational event. They termed the institution as a model college of the district and emphasized that organizing a conference on the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) was a commendable initiative.
The speakers praised the quality of students' participation, highlighting their impressive performances in Qur’anic recitation, Hamd, Naat, and speeches as a reflection of their academic and moral grooming. They also appreciated the college administration for maintaining a balance between academic excellence and co-curricular development.
Former senator Shouqeen, in a gesture of encouragement, announced cash prizes for the outstanding students and pledged to provide a 10 kW solar power system for the college.
The event was also attended by Professor Fatima Sindhu, Principal of Government Girls Degree College Tando Adam; Assistant Director Colleges (Shaheed Benazirabad Region) Ata Muhammad Siyal, Secretary of Sindhi Adabi Sangat Tando Adam Muhammad Ikhlaq Waryah, Mansoor Bijoro, Gul Hassan Lakho, President of Anjuman Tajiran Iqbal Bhatti and several other notable figures who also addressed the gathering.
At the beginning of the event, guests were welcomed with floral bouquets and gifted books. Shields for outstanding performance were awarded to the college’s lower staff as a gesture of appreciation.
