Tando Adam Finalises Muharram Arrangements, Security Plan and Procession Schedule

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Authorities and organisers have finalised arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram, including mourning processions, religious gatherings, sabeels, designated routes and security measures, during an annual meeting held at the Markazi Imambargah under the auspices of Markazi Anjuman Safina-e-Ahl-e-Bait, Tando Adam.

The meeting was chaired by Rais Habib Khan Mari and attended by office-bearers of various local organisations, organisers of Zuljinah processions, volunteers and individuals responsible for managing different aspects of Muharram observances.

Among those present were Syed Ghulam Mehdi Shah Kazmi, Ghulam Muhammad Saand, Dr Abid Rasool Hashmi, Imran Baig, Syed Mohsin Shah, Ali Abbas Chughtai, Fida Hussain Subh Poto, Din Muhammad Mari, Syed Niaz Hussain Shah, Raja Samoo, Mehtab Ali Sheikh, Sikandar Ali Waryah, Abdul Aziz Waryah, Ibrahim Soomro and Abdul Jabbar Khaskheli, along with other community representatives.

Participants held detailed discussions on the arrangements for religious congregations, mourning processions, sabeels and other activities associated with Muharram. The complete schedule of events for the holy month was also finalised during the meeting.

Addressing the gathering, Rais Habib Khan Mari and other speakers emphasised that Muharram serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala. They stressed the importance of unity, brotherhood, discipline and mutual respect during the observances.

The speakers said that volunteers and organisers would perform their responsibilities diligently to ensure the peaceful conduct of processions and religious gatherings. They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination with the relevant authorities to uphold law and order throughout Muharram.
