Israel’s Aggressive Policies Pose a Threat to Global Peace, Aman Paracha
Karachi,— Muhammad Aman Paracha, Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), has strongly condemned Israel’s aggressive and expansionist policies, calling them a grave threat to peace and stability in the region and across the world.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Paracha described the recent Israeli attack on Qatar as “unacceptable” and a “serious violation of international law and Qatar’s sovereignty.” He urged Muslim nations to unite and take collective action to hold Israel accountable for its actions.
“The Muslim world must come together to punish Israel and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice,” said Paracha. “This is not just an attack on one nation—it is an attack on international norms and the dignity of the entire Muslim Ummah.”
He lauded Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s expression of solidarity with Qatar during a recent meeting with the Emir of Qatar at the Arab-Islamic Summit held in Doha. “The Prime Minister rightly conveyed the sentiments of the entire Pakistani nation in standing shoulder to shoulder with our Qatari brothers,” he added.
Referring to the September 9 incident, Paracha termed it “a blatant breach of Qatar’s territorial integrity” and a “violation of the UN Charter and global diplomatic conventions.” He stressed that Israel can only be restrained through a powerful and united front of Arab and Islamic countries.
Paracha also called on Muslim countries that have signed the Abraham Accords with Israel to immediately suspend those agreements. “Annulling the Abraham Accords is the bare minimum that must be done. Only then can further steps be taken to check Israel’s rogue behavior,” he said.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Qatar, emphasizing the historical and deeply rooted brotherly relations between the two nations. “Pakistan and Qatar enjoy enduring ties based on mutual respect and Islamic brotherhood. These relations will only grow stronger in the future,” Paracha concluded.
